Block Layover Privacy Policy
Content Dept LLC
Who we are Block Layover is operated by Content Dept LLC. This policy describes the current iPhone app. Effective November 3, 2026. For privacy questions or requests, email Contact@Content-Dept.com.
Your game stays on your device The app stores your chosen player name, name-change date, scores, saved games, Rescue progress, power-play and Super Nuke balances, daily reward date and streak, theme ownership, processed purchase identifiers, preferences, and privacy acknowledgment on your device. These records let you resume play, remember settings, deliver daily rewards, and avoid applying a purchase twice. Your player name is a nickname. You do not need to provide your real name. Your chosen monster avatar is stored with your profile. Guest play stays on your device.
No advertising or tracking The current app contains no advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, public leaderboards, or required online accounts. It does not request access to your contacts, precise location, microphone, or photos. Core gameplay works offline. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Purchases and Apple services When App Store purchases are enabled, Apple processes payments and purchase restoration. The app uses Apple-provided product, transaction, and entitlement information to deliver purchased items and maintain ownership. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may retain transaction records and provide developers with reports or diagnostics through its services, subject to Apple’s policies and your settings. Preview and local testing purchases do not charge real money.
Diagnostics and backups The app can keep a local performance log to help investigate delays. It does not automatically upload that log to Content Dept. Apple may collect or share crash and diagnostic information according to your device and testing settings. App data may also be included in backups managed by iOS or your computer. Optional cloud backup is described below. Unsynced offline changes are not available on another device.
Optional Apple sign-in and cloud backup If you choose Sign in with Apple, Aple supplies an account identifier and, if shared, your email or private relay address. We use Supabase to authenticate you and store your nickname, avatar, name-change date, game progress, scores, remaining power plays and Super Nukes, daily reward date and streak, theme ownership and processed transaction identifiers. This data is linked to your account to back up and restore your game. Supabase processes it on our behalf in our US-hosted project and may process connection and security logs such as IP addresses. Service providers acting on our behalf are required to use appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-protection measures consistent with this policy and applicable law. Your sign-in tokens are stored in the iPhone Keychain. We do not receive your Apple password. Signing in is optional; gameplay and daily rewards work without an account or connection. Purchases still use your App Store account.
Cloud controls My Profile lets you back up, sign out, or delete your Block Layover cloud save. Signing out stops future cloud backups until you sign in again. Deleting a cloud save removes its game data from our active database and signs you out; your local game and Apple purchase records remain. Service backups may retain deleted records temporarily under the provider’s retention settings. Your shared Content Dept authentication account and information in other Content Dept apps are separate. Contact Contact@Content-Dept.com to request deletion of that shared account and associated identifying information. Reset App erases gameplay locally and updates the cloud save when connected, resetting power plays to five of each type while keeping your profile and themes. Conflicting offline saves require you to choose which to keep.
When you contact us If you email us or choose to send feedback or diagnostic files, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address and message. We use it to answer you, investigate problems, and improve the app. Our email or support providers process those communications to provide their services. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Links opened outside the app are governed by the destination’s privacy practices.
Retention and your choices Local game data remains until you delete the app or remove it through your device’s storage controls. Offloading the app may keep its data. Backups and Apple purchase records may remain separately under your Apple settings and Apple’s retention rules. We retain support communications only as needed to handle the request, resolve related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact Contact@Content-Dept.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us. We may need to verify the request. We cannot remotely access or erase your local saved game. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request a copy of your information, or complain to your privacy regulator.
Children and families The game can be played without sending a name, age, or gameplay profile to Content Dept. Parents and guardians can manage purchases and device data through Apple’s controls. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security and policy changes We use the device’s app storage and platform protections for local records. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change and provide notice or seek any permissions required for new practices. Acknowledging this policy records that you have received it; it does not authorize advertising, tracking, or unrelated data collection.
